‘The one who seek shall find’.
What according to you is the actual meaning of a wake-up call? Is it an alarm that runs on your clock to wake you up every morning for your daily schedule or is it a reminder for any task?
It’s none of those. Wake up call is feeling and sensing the actual aim of your life. Every one of us aim to stay focused while we start our careers, initiate our lives, but with sigh I bring it your kind notice, that only few of us are able to sense and comprehend the basic idea of what exactly we want our lives to look like and we create that.
You see, there’s a difference at what we always have dreamt of our lives to look like, and what are we running our lives as?
Let us understand this with the help of an example.
An intellectual businessman who is extremely busy with his daily schedule doesn’t gets enough time, or let me make it more clear, he doesn’t take out time for himself, for his long friendships and relationships. Meanwhile, on the other hand a vibrant, intellectual and an epitome of tranquility were reflecting through this another businessman. In spite of his busy schedules, he has dragged his time into self-awareness and understood the concept of ‘Thought Processing as an important factor’.
You know, we are smart individuals who are tightly stuck in the cobwebs that the society has offered us. Meanwhile, running in this race of competition we often forget to anticipate the basic theories and principles of life.
We try to live a successful and happy life, but we couldn’t. And why we couldn’t?
Here are many answers for the repetitive failures.
We fail to comprehend the basic principle of living a simple life!
The simpler you live, the fewer problems will arise. Life is simple; you keep on insisting to make it complicated. Enjoy the little things that surround you, the life which you are living is a beautiful gift send to us by the Almighty. Embrace it without any doubt.
We let our thoughts control our mind!
You see,the mind is a powerful weapon. You have to be smart enough to take control over your thoughts. Either you take a control over your thoughts else, this mind will ruin you. In the story, ‘The Monk who sold his Ferrari’, Julian Mantle explains it beautifully. He says,
‘Enlightened thinkers know that their thoughts form their world and the quality of one’s life comes down to the richness of one’s thoughts. If you want to live a peaceful, meaningful life, you must think more peaceful and meaningful thoughts’.
We don’t exercise our mind, body , and soul!
The way you exercise and put all your energy on your outer looks, it is equally important to transfer all your energy and sincerity in the proper functioning of your mind, body , and soul. After all, they work together and are best friends.
You certainly need not have to wait for a wake-up call, if you’re well versed with what exactly you want to do with your life. Anything that inspires you and let you stay happy and good the time you wake up, is exactly what you must pursue.
Happiness and calmness are your personal retreat. Save it with care and don’t just wait for the wake-up call, understand it.
